Flatjacking
Flatjacking is a method used in construction and structural engineering, mainly to transfer heavy loads onto props or supports. It involves the use of hydraulic pressure to lift and support a structure or a portion of a structure. High-strength grout is injected under pressure in order to shift the weight of the structure onto the prop it's sitting on. Once cured, the injected materials form a permanent bond with the surrounding structure, effectively transferring the load onto the props and creating a permanent fixture.
Typical applications:
- Structural lifting,
- Structural pre-loading,
- Control of Thrust forces,
- Propping/Shoring Load transfer.
- Underpinning.
- Structural Isolation (Acoustic Bearings)

Our state-of-the-art equipment and quality materials ensure that the concrete is raised evenly and to the desired level. We prioritize precision and quality in every project.
06
Versatility
Our flatjacking services are suitable for a wide range of applications, including residential driveways, commercial parking lots, industrial floors, and more.
The Process
Assesment
We begin with a thorough assessment of the problem areas, identifying the extent of settlement and the specific locations that require attention.
Injection
Small holes are strategically drilled, and injection ports are installed. Our specialized grout or material is then injected beneath the concrete.
Lifting & Levelling
As the grout or material is injected, it expands and exerts pressure on the underside of the concrete slab. This pressure gradually lifts the slab, levelling it with the surrounding area. The process is typically monitored using precision equipment to achieve the desired elevation.
Quality assurance
We closely monitor the lifting process, making any necessary adjustments to ensure precise levelling.
Cleanup & Restoration
Once the project is complete, we seal the holes, clean up any excess material, and perform any necessary cosmetic touch-ups.
